- Tasting Note: Impressively tasty alcohol-free Riesling, with flavours of citrus and rhubarb and an aromatic, overarching squirt of lime.
- Food Matching: Recommended to pair with gratinated crostini, cauliflower and goat’s cheese as well as with an Asian chicken casserole.
- Vineyard: The vineyard is located in the middle of Rheinhessen. The vines are trellised with the Guyot sytem and the canopy management is Leitz's own structure. Sustainable farming practice is employed including leaf removal.
- Vinification: To remove the alcohol from our wine, a gentle vacuum distillation has been used, in order to preserve the natural Riesling flavours. We have chosen this modern technique, because it allows us to extract the alcohol under extremely low pressure and temperature (around 30°C). No flavours will be lost through the treatment of the wine through the dealcoholisation process.
